Dopo tanti anni di carriera tra insegnamento (docente al conservatorio G. Verdi di Milano) e  Konzertmeister del teatro alla Scala (tutta l’era Abbado e Muti) mi sento di affermare che la musica sia un bene necessario da insegnare a tutti i bambini come la più suprema delle lingue.

La mia piccola nipotina me ne ha dato la conferma grazie alla scuola Suzuki di Parma, nella quale è stata immersa fin dall’età di 3 anni. Se tutti i bambini del mondo avessero la stessa opportunità, il mondo sarebbe un posto migliore.

After so many years of professional experience between teaching (as a professor at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan) and serving as concertmaster at La Scala (throughout the entire Abbado and Muti era), I believe I can affirm that music is an essential good that must be taught to all children—like the highest of all languages.

My young niece has confirmed this through the Suzuki school in Parma, which she joined at the age of three. If all children in the world had the same opportunities, the world would be a better place.
